Annual Meeting 2025

The DanScatt Annual Meeting 2025 was hosted by the University of Southern Denmark in Odense.

At the 2025 meeting Jia Guo from Aalborg University received the PhD prize of the year for his thesis on lithium-ion battery aging, utilizing synchrotron techniques at BESSY II and DESY.

After the poster session, the PhD student Tinatin Tkesheliadze from the University of Copenhagen was awarded Best Poster for her work on phosphate recovery from arsenic-laden sludge.

Alongside the Annual Meeting two satellite meetings were organized; the XFEL Workshop took place for the fifth time and featured invited talks and poster discussions on XFEL science and the MX (Macromolecular Crystallography) workshop which discussed classical single crystal structure determination, fragment screening, serial crystallography and neutron crystallography.
